Working in the Fitness Industry to fund my passion for Travel and Adventure. Currently living in Scotland but have lived and worked in the French Alps, Australia and London. Saving for my next trip in September 2013. New to this so most posts are from archive photos and journals from past trips. Loving Life, Travel, Fitness, Skiing, Surfing, Food and New Experiences!

I have an insatiable desire to wander through as  many countries and continents as possible! I never feel more like myself than when I am travelling.  I love the feeling of excitement, adventure and independence! The places you see, the people you meet, the sounds and the smells! I believe in experiencing different cultures and travelling as responsibly as possible.

The 7 Continent s of the World

When I’m not daydreaming about far off lands I make a living as a personal trainer. I love being physically fit and active and try to share this passion with my clients. I believe in the power of exercise to help improve our overall wellness in body and mind!  I also particularly love the outdoors. Mountain and Sea – Skiing and Surfing!

“EXERCISE TO BE FIT NOT SKINNY – EAT TO NOURISH YOUR BODY – DON’T COMPARE YOURSELF TO OTHERS! LOVE LIFE………!”

  1. Katie, love your blog! We have so much in common… not to mention that September in Nepal is also my next adventure! Get in touch if you would like to meet a like-minded traveller on your journey!

    • Hi sammy. Glad your enjoying reading my ramblings! Your trip looks pretty exciting too! I’ll be posting more shortly about my basic itinerary and we can see if our paths might cross. In the meantime keep daydreaming……! X

  2. Thanks for following. Seems like our priorities are similar – working to travel. Nepal is one of my top two favourite destinations. Make sure you go to Pokhara, do an Annapurna Trek, white water rafting, paragliding was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I stayed in a great hostel in the centre of town that was dirt cheap but really clean (unlike some places we stayed in in Kathmandu), let me know if you want the details.
Off to a surf camp in Senegal tomorrow for a week, will put something up on my blog when I get back.

    • Excellent! I am doing a cycle tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu so most of our accommodation is sorted but thanks for the tips! It should be amazing – with a stop off at the Tibetan Everest base camp at Rongbuk! Have a great time surfing and I look forward to hearing about the waves! 🙂
